Carlsbad Caverns National Park

​Carlsbad Caverns are located about 107 miles to the west of Hobbs RV Park. To access Carlsbad Caverns National Park's only entrance road, Carlsbad Caverns Highway, turn north from US Hwy 62/180 at White's City, New Mexico—20 miles southwest of Carlsbad, New Mexico. The entrance road stretches a scenic seven miles from the park gate at White's City to the visitor center and cavern entrance.

The Center of Recreational Excellence (CORE)

The Center of Recreational Excellence (CORE) in Hobbs, N.M., provides year-round indoor recreational amenities, including opportunities for social interaction, learning, fun and fitness for residents of Lea County. The CORE is the result of a unique partnership between the City of Hobbs, Lea County, New Mexico Junior College, Hobbs Municipal Schools, the University of the Southwest and the JF Maddox Foundation.

Hobbs is a gateway to New Mexico, located in the Southeast corner of New Mexico, just 4 miles from the West Texas Border. The Hobbs area represents the best of the “high desert,” with its blue sky vistas and spectacular sunsets. The region exhibits a truly multicultural heritage: Cowboy legend, farming traditions, and Hispanic culture. Hobbs truly has a little of everything for all to enjoy here.

Charlie Brown Park boarders our facility. Take a short walk to Charlie Brown Park.  This park offers BBQ grill pavilions, lights, picnic tables, playground equipment, and basketball courts.

Western Heritage Museum and Lea County Cowboy Hall of Fame

The home of "Hobbspitality," is located on the Campus of New Mexico Junior College. Striving to be the regional leader in the preservation and exhibition of artifacts and materials documenting the Cowboy and Ranching Heritage of Southeast New Mexico and West Texas.
